FAQs

Are you ever going to write Ava’s story?

A. It’s in the bag,  kids! I finally found a man Ava couldn’t scare off. And believe me when I tell you, sparks flew! We’re talking California wild fires here, even if they did stay in Manhattan. Ava’s story, You’re So Vein, will be released by St Martin’s press in the April of 2009, so stay tuned!

Are your early e-books ever coming into print?

A. Yes, I’m happy to day that they are. My current publisher, St. Martin’s Press, is planning to begin bringing the old stories that started the world of the Others. That’s the good news; the bad news is that before the books come out in print, they need a little spiffing up. Now, that’s really only bad because it means it will be a little while before they hit the store shelves, but it’s good because it means that when they do, they’ll be bigger and better than ever!

What is the correct reading order for all your Others stories, including the e-books?

A. I like to think each of my stories stands alone, but if you want to know what order they came out in, here it is:

Fantasy Fix (now expanded and retitled One Bite with a Stranger, SMP)
Fur Factor (now expanded and retitled Big, Bad Wolf, coming from SMP, Fall/Winter 2009)
Faer Fetched (novella, coming from SMP, date TBD)
Fighting Faer (coming from SMP, date TBD)
Fur For All (coming from SMP, date TBD)
Fur Play (at Ellora’s Cave)
Wolf at the Door (SMP)
She’s No Faerie Princess (SMP)
The Demon You Know (SMP)
Any Witch Way She Can (in the anthology No Rest for the Witches, SMP)
Howl at the Moon (SMP)
Walk on the Wild Side (SMP)
You’re So Vein (SMP)

Where can I find copies of your early ebooks?

A. Unfortunately, with the exception of Fur Play (available from Ellora’s Cave), you can’t. But don’t despair. Those early ebooks will be expanded and reprinted by St Martin’s Press over the next few years, so you will be able to read them all eventually.

Where can I find Missy and Graham’s (Rafe and Tess’s, Corinne’s, Danice’s, etc.) story?

A. Those stories were originally written as eBooks and are sadly no longer available, but they will be rereleased as expanded novels by St Martin’s press. All you need is a little patience. But for your reference, this is which book told which story:

Fantasy Fix - Reggie and Misha, now rereleased as One Bite with a Stranger
Fur Factor — Missy and Graham, coming soon as Big, Bad Wolf
Faer Fetched — Danice and Mac
Fighting Faer — Corinne and Luc
Fur For All — Tess and Rafe
Fur Play — Logan (Graham’s former beta) and Honor

Do you plan to keep writing stories about the Others?

A. At the moment, absolutely. I’m having a ball with these guys and don’t plan to let them go anytime too soon. But I do have other ideas up my sleeves and other worlds I want to explore, so I hope you’ll be willing to join me on some other amazing rides!
